Accountant/Bookkeeper Job Announcment

The Southern Adirondack Child Care Network has an immediate opening for an accountant/bookkeeper with Quick Books experience.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, payroll and general ledger accounts
  • Maintaining budgets and financial records
  • Preparing monthly reporting for the Executive Director and the Board of Directors
  • Reporting on expenditures related to grants received

The successful candidate should possess the following characteristics

  • A minimum of three years bookkeeping and/or accounting experience
  • A two year accounting degree or equivalent
  • Significant experience working with Quick Books

Experience working in a non profit environment is preferred but not required.
