Plastics are everywhere in child care settings—sometimes in places we least expect. This session explores the benefits and risks of plastics, including how certain plastics can impact children’s health through daily use. Participants will learn how to identify safer plastics, reduce exposure to harmful chemicals, and make informed choices around food storage, toys, and classroom materials.
Join SACCN’s Sue K. to learn about how you can implement Eco-Healthy child care strategies and practices into your child care program. Participants will receive a set of Glass Food Storage Containers to support implementation at each session. Participants who attend all sessions will be put into a raffle to win the ECO-HEALTHY CHILD CARE GRAND PRIZE- A HEPA Vacuum
